Build Specification
BMW 325i 4 Door with PAS and LSD delivered to Alpina Germany for conversion to C2 2.7 specification. 2.7 litre long stroke 6 cyl engine installed along with 6 branch manifold and mild steel large bore exhaust system, battery moved to rear of car, Alpina suspension components also added. Car shipped to UK March 1986 for completion. 16" Alpina alloys added along with Alpina Steering wheel and Gear knob, BMW Sports front seats, Alpina badge, front and rear spoilers and finally Alpina side decals. Car completed and delivered on the 11th of April 1986.
Engine
2693cc 6 cylinder in-line producing 210 bhp at 5800rpm and maximum torque of 213 lb/ft at 4500rpm. Light Mahle pistons, light alloy cylinder head with hemispherical combustion chambers, forced lubrication circulation, engine oil cooling with speed controlled viscous fan, electronic grid ignition and fuel injection with supply cut off, Bosch Motronic II, special tubular exhaust manifold and Alpina exhaust system.
